Sho’s C35 Laurel

I really should be home relaxing after work or even looking up parts or helping customers but I only have ten minutes until the libarary closes. I still don’t have internet at my house and I can’t stop thinking about this article and/or Sho’s awesome looking, yet so subtle, C35 Laurel and talking about it! … Continue reading “Sho’s C35 Laurel”

Alex’s 1996 Nissan 240sx

I got to head out to “100 Drifters of December” (DriftNirvana) end of the year event last weekend on December 4th 2016. It was an amazing event! Tons of cars as well as drivers and Summit Point Raceway had all 3-4 tracks opened at one time. Everywhere you looked there was drifting. On top of that, there were a lot of awesome cars there as well, including a lot of Japanese cars (C33s, JZX90, and even a JZX100). Shout of to Phil for inviting me to tag along! (instagram @philavor)

“Sponsored Car” Pablo’s 240sx

Pablo has definitely put a lot of work into this car. He actually transferred everything but the exterior pieces from another S13 chassis. All the work, inside and out, he did himself. This particular car started as a stock KA powered car. In 2013 he swapped in a 2JZGE and in 2014/2015 he went to the current 1JZGTE setup. He really pulled off that Japanese style he was going for. As I said in Luis’ truck article, (https://exec-11.us/2016/11/21/luis-1970-datsun-521/), I’m really fortunate to be able to surround myself with really awesome people and Pablo is definitely one of them. Luis’ 1970 Datsun 521

Luis had a dream of owning a Nissan D21 truck since his dad owned one when he was a kid. While looking for one, he stumbled across his Datsun 521. Falling in love, he had to get it! It came pre-setup with a few things and he added his own flair and parts line up to it. As you can tell, it’s not your average truck you see setup like this. Not only that, it’s really well kept and maintained. Currently, he has Mono Prime wheels installed and pictured, as he gets the Epsilon wheels, (one of several sets we’ve imported), polished. I’ll include some pictures of the Epsilon wheels in the “More Pictures” area at the bottom of the article.

Update ~ New Wheel Selections

blog
It has been a while since I’ve made an update here at the blog. I have been extremely busy, yet stressed, with the moving process I’m going through right now. Everything is up in the air and I have no real answers. First, I was going to move to Salt Lake City then Virginia, also thought about Washington State again. I’m waiting on a response for a place in Virginia and I’m hoping to move there. I think it’s the most beautiful area of the U.S.

Yukito’s 180sx

The S-Chassis is still one of the most popular cars to modify and I think that goes for any part of the globe. In the United States, 240sx cars have gone way up in price whether they are “clean” or “beat”. Most of them seem to be haggard for prices much higher than anyone would want to pay. But I think that is due to them being 20+ years old and for every car out there, you’ll have one crashed. And for these cars to be popular in the drift scene, these cars will only get more rare, really, by the week.

Kentaro’s Daihatsu Mira (L700)

When you think of kei-cars, the first thing that comes to mind is low horsepower, good gas mileage, and a nice all around daily commuter.
