Kobayashi’s Nissan Cima

In the aftermarket world, the Y32 is mainly used for a “VIP”, or similar, dressup/lowdown style platform. It can be Japan, United States, or Europe, and most people modify these to similar fashion. But some, like Kobayashi, do things the way they’ve dreamed with no short cuts. If there’s ever an argument in the VIP world, I think this is how it should be done. On that note, people tend to categorize certain cars too often without simply enjoying them.

Toshi’s Nissan 180sx

Clean and smooth drifting; it always catches my eye! And that’s why I had to write about him and his 180sx!

Masaki Toyota Supra

Nothing like a well executed car. “Wheels and coilovers don’t make a build” but man do they sure make a car look good! I don’t think a car needs to be fully built or have every little thing exchanged for it to be nice, a car that you (the owner) enjoy, and to cherish.

Ralph’s S13 Silvia

Tomoyuki (Ralph)  has owned this car for roughly 10 years. It was purchased as a completely stock base model A/T car. Over the years, it was converted to M/T, engine exchanged and overhauled, and aftermarket parts installed. Below we will go over the setup in detail in the Car Setup. He is usually seen drifting at events!

Hamana’s Honda Courreges TACT

When these were released in the early 80s, they weren’t being advertised to guys in camo pants…They were a cute scooter with bright blue and/or pink graphics for peppy girls’ to scoot on down to the tennis court. But with Japan being Japan, there are guys that say “I’m going to turn one of these into the perfect Shakotan machine!” and do it. It seems to be a very popular scooter to modified. They look really cool with the aftermarket cowls and everything! I enjoy anything that is cool, low down, and especially 2stroke! So in this post, we will be talking about his Honda Courreges Tact. How low he has it with the addition of graphics and aftermarket lighting make it a very unique little scooter. ..I’d ride it every day! Looking cool while getting 1,000mpg! lol

Kazuki’s JZX100 Chaser

A quick write-up. I have always really enjoyed his JZX100. The ride height and wheel fitment is perfect! This fitment is something not seen too often in the U.S. Here, it seems to be either the following: tires are too stretch/not stretched enough, ride height/rake is off, or wheels are too sunk in or way too far out. To me, Kazuki did it right…

Kentaro’s Daihatsu Copen

Kentaro was driving a Daihatsu Mira which I wrote about here (https://exec-11.us/2016/09/28/kentaros-daihatsu-mira-l700/). He has since changed over to a Copen. He wanted to drive something that is out of the ordinary while still being able to FF-drift as he does so frequently. When he first acquired the Copen I was actually confused as to what it was. I had never seen one of these before out of all the Japanese Kei-Cars. It’s like a mini-VW Beetle meets NB miata interior meets high(er) performance sports car. It’s a really neat car! The car isn’t that powerful from the factory but he installed the K3-VE2 that was in his Mira into this!! Let’s get into the Car Setup; there will be videos in the bottom showing his FF-Drifting!
