Tomoyuki (Ralph) has owned this car for roughly 10 years. It was purchased as a completely stock base model A/T car. Over the years, it was converted to M/T, engine exchanged and overhauled, and aftermarket parts installed. Below we will go over the setup in detail in the Car Setup. Ryosuke has been driving S13 chassis’ since he was 18 years old and this particular car for 2 years. I didn’t get the exact “why” as to him choosing the S13 chassis but he seems to like them a lot. …And who wouldn’t like them? They are light weight, great handling, and awesome aftermarket support. That’s why the 240sx has been so popular for so long in the U.S. In my opinion, Ryosuke’s S13 is what the American street-style scene is trying to be. And I say “trying to be” because his driving style is one of the top. Being able to hold large angle and smooth transitions while having the aesthetic looks of a wide body kit and deep wheels, matching! Pablo has definitely put a lot of work into this car. He actually transferred everything but the exterior pieces from another S13 chassis. All the work, inside and out, he did himself. This particular car started as a stock KA powered car. In 2013 he swapped in a 2JZGE and in 2014/2015 he went to the current 1JZGTE setup. He really pulled off that Japanese style he was going for. As I said in Luis’ truck article, (https://exec-11.us/2016/11/21/luis-1970-datsun-521/), I’m really fortunate to be able to surround myself with really awesome people and Pablo is definitely one of them.
