In today’s car scene, a lot of people like vans and think of them as being cool and different. Some people wouldn’t ever think of doing one up, even in today’s so-called “market” of car modifying. I remember a time when someone brought up “van”, and everyone would think of a Chrysler Town and Country…
One thing I have always enjoyed in the Japanese automotive scene is their van culture. It seems they have a culture for pretty much any type of vehicle but I’ve liked how they take aesthetics from car modifying and bring it into the van world. It has always been so different yet so awesome! I’ve noticed, for decades, that vans have been a choice for a lot people to modify. I have always enjoyed the feeling vans give me when modified. The roomy-ness, the comfort, taking a complete family caravan and doing the opposite to it…it’s just so cool!
And that’s where Yuuki comes in. He has owned his 2003 Honda Odyssey for a year and a half. He seemed to complete the look he was going for pretty quick and has kept it the same ever since. I really like the midnight purple color mixed with the silver wheels. The motor is kept stock for reliability. It’s all about look with this one!
